This hand knitted beanie style hat is Cream, with an Apricot waffle stripe, and top knot.
The yarn used is Debbie Bliss, spun in Italy from 55% Super-fine Merino Wool, 33% Acrylic, and 12% Cashmere Fibre. This ensures that the beanie is super-soft against Baby’s skin, and is not itchy.
Even one generation ago, hand-knitted items were a part of every new Baby’s wardrobe, but in our manufacturing age of fast fashion, this hat is a real luxury, with excellent attention to detail. Cashmere yarn, which comes from cashmere goats living in the high mountains of Mongolia is known as “The Fibre of the Gods”, because of its warmth and light weight, the blended yarn used here has these benefits plus, resilience of the yarn, and ease of care.
