Blue Inches Textile by Juliet Dixon.
Comprising 7 rows of 6 x 1” squares (2.5cm) with each “inch” being an individual art piece, this textile is truly a unique creation.
Each inch has been adorned with either a small motif, or hand embroidered with no two alike. The inches have been arranged so that the colour shifts from pale blue to a darker navy; mounted on a navy background and further defined by the silver grid stitching.
Finished with an outer silver frame and a “fillet” around the actual textile the completed textile would become a talking point in any home.
The textile size is 25cm (9.75”) x 21.5cm (8.5”); the frame measures 48cm (19”) x 44cm (17.5”).
