This piece examines the crossroads humanity currently faces. We can choose to continue on the path we have taken thus far, or we can evolve and forge a new the path, paving the way for a collective enlightenment towards how we treat Mother Earth and co-exist with all the life she supports.
The scarab beetle symbolises life rising from death – death of the path that is no longer serving us. Proteas represent the power of collective and committed long-term action. The female hyena (hyena clans are matriarchal) and powerful female figure allude to the necessary role of feminine-yin qualities in successfully evolving our way of life.
