Fremantle Boat Original Oil Painting by Merri Blais
Framed
Approx. 32.5cm x 32.5cm.
Oil on Canvas
Fremantle is a port city and my great-grandfather lived and worked in Fremantle on boats, having sailed one of the first dredges from Glasgow. This little tug-boat, the “Fremantle”, is working today.  I found that the aqua colour of the boat and the water were one, offset with the strong contrast offered by the orange buoy.   Â
