Glass Half Full Art
Glass Half Full Art is a vibrant creative collaboration between mother-and-daughter duo Eileen Mac and Nikki Mac — two multi-talented, self-taught artists who share a deep love for glass, colour, and playful creativity.
Eileen is a multi-award-winning contemporary artist with decades of experience across a wide range of mediums including fused glass, stained glass, mosaic, pottery, painting, and sculpture. Her richly layered, mixed-media pieces are driven by a love for colour and nature, blending traditional craftsmanship with bold, modern expression. Eileen’s artistic journey includes public commissions, gallery features, and mentoring roles — notably as a three-year Artist in Residence at the historic Pinjarra Courthouse and as a founding member of NU Arts Gallery.
Nikki, who quite literally grew up in her mum’s studio, brings her own whimsical flair to the Glass Half Full project. Her glass-based mixed media works are full of joy, humour, and heart — often inspired by the odd, the quirky, and the delightfully unexpected. She’s especially passionate about personalised commissions, from playful reinterpretations of children’s art to deeply meaningful pet memorials. With a natural gift for teaching, Nikki also leads hands-on workshops that welcome others into the creative process.
Together, Eileen and Nikki blend experience and imagination, discipline and fun, sentiment and sparkle. Under Glass Half Full, they celebrate art as a way to connect, to express, and to brighten the world — one joyful piece at a time.
