The red flash is a red coloration of the lower portion of the sun, occasionally seen as the sun rises above or sinks to the horizon version or could be an extremely fast DC character!
Garnet is 6 to 7.5 on the Mohs hardness scale. Traditionally the birthstone of January and claimed to be a stone of courage and positiveness.
