Colours of Nature Small Rug by Jo Barrie.
This small rug is suitable for a Pram, a Knee Rug, or for use in the car, and has been lovingly hand knitted.
The rug is available in three colourways:
- Bushland, State forest, Darling Ranges: Olive, Burnt Sienna, Cream, Ochre, Green and Terracotta.
- South Coast, Ocean and Mountain: Cream, Tan, Cornflower.
Each rug measures 55cm by 55 cm, and is lovingly knitted by hand from Rowan 50% Cotton, and 50% Merino Wool.
The yarn is manufactured in Italy, the home of many wonderful yarns and fibres, and is machine washable, on warm wool wash cycle.
The item is mid weight, and is an heirloom blanket, a wonderful example of a textile hand craft that unfortunately is no longer being practiced as widely as even one generation ago.
