Jazz It Up original painting by Bernadette Mcgill
Poured acrylic and silicone on canvas.
unframed, ready to hang
Bernadette loves to paint in an abstract style, using acrylic paints.
This started off as a scaled down version of a piece I did for a client . It didn’t turn out as the original piece but I love it , that’s the nature of pouring, its a journey that you have no idea exactly where it will end, only the balance of colours . This technique lends itself to large canvasses, which would be the focal point in a room, bringing together all the surrounding colours , its an accessory that completes the outfit . When I do these painting as a commission, in a consultation with the client, we go through colour charts and a catalogue of styles that I provide and they decide on a selection to compliment the furnishings in the room .
Please note: Actual colours may vary. This is due to the fact that every computer monitor has a different capability to display colours and that everyone sees these colours differently.
