Carnelian and Smokey Quartz Necklace and Earrings by Galina Rozanova.
Designed to complement any blue, black or white coloured outfit, this exotic necklace features semi-precious stones of a variety of shapes and sizes. It was designed to show off the beautiful highlights present in the large facetted Carnelian crystals, which are offset by the complimentary colouring of the smaller stones.
The necklace was made by local Perth artist, Galina Rozanova. She has been making beaded jewellery for 25 years and has won several prestigious awards.
A little about the constituents:
- The main stones are variegated Carnelian, often sourced from Brazil. This stone is an aid to promoting vitality and courage. It will help you draw on your deepest reserves and yet still have something left. It is said to make your mind crystal clear so that you can make your life choices in a positive and empowered fashion. Just the thing if you are feeling despondent and apathetic. It is associated with Taurus, Cancer and Leo.
- The smaller stones are also Carnelians of different shades, and the central piece of the necklace is a Carnelian cluster made of small multicoloured stones.
- The larger Carnelian gems are separated by spacers of smoky quartz. The number of these spacers is low, so their influence on the properties of necklace is small.
It is 60cm long and weighs 87 g. The brass clasp is an intricate deign modelled on a Celtic motif and is strong, reliable, and easy-to-use.
