Unruly Sun Jewellery is a creative venture that seeks to entwine wildlife and whimsical forms, bringing the wearer closer to nature, perhaps also to our own inner nature. Inspired by the silversmith workshops at Fremantle Arts Centre, I now work from home on a small scale. The forms I make have a naive, symbolic quality that I hope portrays some of the magic I sense around us. I trained at Edith Cowan University (formerly WACAE) in the visual arts & crafts, and continue my arts practice in painting and mixed media. My future vision is to increase awareness of our extraordinary native animals in Western Australia.
