Maike Schablitzki

My name is Maike – after years of traveling the world my pathway led me to my long-term home in beautiful Western Australia. Originally, I grew up in a mountain village in Bavarian alps, art has been part of me from a very young age as well as nature my biggest inspiration.
I always have been fascinated by the different colours, shapes, forms and textures of this world My earrings made of precious glass beads reflect this fascination inspirited by the intense and ever changed colours of the ocean, bush, birds and wildflowers of WA.
My intention with my art is to offer people to wear the feeling of being inspired and to become inspiration, with a colour range for everyone in their day-to-day life – to uplift there feeling, ad something special, raise their vibration and as a reminder to pay attention to all the wonderful details around us. Carefully chosen quality glass beads handcrafted and woven together with a lot of intention and love to bring joy to celebrate every moment adding to every style, shape, form and colour.
