Juan Arteche

Juan is a travelling artist whose fine-line ink drawings are shaped by nature, movement and the adventures he’s collected across South America, Asia and Australia. Though he loved drawing as a child, it wasn’t until his travels began four years ago that he reconnected with art and developed the delicate, detailed style he’s known for today. Working mainly in black ink with occasional touches of colour, Juan captures animals, landscapes, van life and the outdoors — reflections of the places he’s lived, explored and called home. Based in Fremantle for the past year, he now sells postcards, stickers and prints at local markets, turning a once-forgotten hobby into something wonderfully unexpected.
