Caroline Morling

Caroline Morling is a textile artist, designer and creator.
Her label indi-go-round was established in 2018 while she was living in Bridgetown WA.
indi-go-round produces creative textile works using Shibori dyeing and block printing, and colourful fashion garments.
Shibori is an ancient Japanese dyeing technique where fabric is folded, wrapped, bound or clamped then dyed with indigo. Each piece is individually handcrafted and produces a one-of-a-kind artwork.

Growing up in country WA Caroline learnt many crafts from her creative Mum. She went on to study fashion, visual art and floristry while working as a primary school teacher. Her creative interests have led her to markets, bridal dressmaking, her own fashion label, crafternoons at school, and her current label indi-go-round.

She has experienced an adventurous life as an adult living in the Kimberley, Kenya, Ireland, Timor Leste and Bridgetown, and currently lives and works in Perth with her three teenage children.
