Originally from the UK, I studied Art from GCSE level (English qualification), to A level Arts and Crafts, Btec Diploma in Foundation Art and BA Hons Graphic Design/Illustration. I emigrated to Australia in 2012 and continue to work as a freelance illustrator for greeting card companies and publishers. I continue to learn from short courses, workshops and online tuition to keep up to date with current trends and techniques.
My illustrative style is juvenile, mainly due to the success of a range of cards called ‘Marzipan’ that has been in production for the last 15 years, which I need to continually keep updated! It is because of this that I have been able to perfect my craft and delve deeper into the world of polymer clay and all the possibilities this medium has to offer.
