Having played with wool in one form or another for many years, I found my passion in the form of a spinning wheel and a fascination with the different models and the yarn they produce.

I love the look, feel and colours associated with fleece straight from the sheep, hand washing a new fleece and watching the colours appear, spinning the fibres and then plying them together to achieve a gentle wave of colour or using blocks of colour to produce an eye-catching .garment.  I particularly enjoy knitting original shawls and wraps and also the traditional Cornish Fisherman’s Knit Frock or Gansey,.

I source my fibres from Australia, supporting small flock owners and overseas to support breeders who raise rare breed animals.  I spin fibres ranging from sheep, silk to alpaca (which is grown 20 minutes south of Mandurah) and then to Chiengora, or puppy fluff, in fact I will spin any fibre I can lay my hands on, just to see what it will do!!   My garments are all handmade and in pure wool which will give you years of wear in a product that will always look smart.  I am also happy to spin yarn for you to knit into your own individual garment.
