Since I was little I have always had a passion for making things and being creative in my spare time. I have been a Science teacher for many years and for relaxation I take time out from the crazy world of teaching to delve into my own creative space. I like to try new techniques and my range is always evolving from making handmade cards to hand painting glasses to making flower crowns. Art is therapeutic in so many ways and seeing how my work changes with time also excites me.
For my handmade cards I choose beautiful fabric designs and give them my own little sparkly twist. The flower crowns are made using hand twisted wire with floristry tape and I choose a range of mulberry paper flowers with co-ordinated ribbons, sometimes with diamanté and pearl details. My own little pieces of sculpture.
